Betion USA, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information provided in the services (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”) offered on this website.
Article 1 (Personal Information)
“Personal information” refers to information about a living individual, which is defined in the Personal Information Protection Law, and includes information that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions, as well as data such as appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and insurance numbers on health insurance cards, which can identify a specific individual from the information itself (personal identification information).
Article 2 (Method of Collecting Personal Information)
The Company may ask users to provide personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, driver’s license number, etc. when registering for use. Additionally, the Company may collect transaction records and payment information, including users’ personal information, from its partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad distribution partners; hereinafter referred to as “Partners”).
Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:
- For the provision and operation of the Company’s services To respond to inquiries from users (including verifying the identity of the user)
- To send emails regarding new features, updates, campaigns, etc. of the services in use by the user and to provide information about other services provided by the Company

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)
- The Company shall change the purpose of use of personal information only if it is deemed to be reasonably related to the purpose before the change.
- In the event of a change in the purpose of use, the Company shall notify users of the changed purpose by the method specified by the Company or by posting it on this website.
Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
- Except as provided below, we will not provide personal information to third parties without the user’s prior consent. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws.
- When necessary for the protection of a person’s life, body, or property, and obtaining the individual’s consent is difficult.
- When particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of healthy upbringing of children, and obtaining the individual’s consent is difficult.
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local government, or a person entrusted by them in executing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual’s consent may hinder the performance of such duties.
- When we have notified or announced in advance the following items, and have notified the Personal Information Protection Commission:
- The purpose of use including provision to third parties

- Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the provision destination of such information shall not be considered a third party in the following cases:
- When we entrust all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use.
- When personal information is provided due to a merger or other reason for business succession.
- When personal information is jointly used with a specific person, and the notification to the individual in advance or in a state easily accessible by the individual includes the purpose of joint use, items of personal information jointly used, scope of joint users, purpose of use by joint users, and the name or appellation of the person responsible for managing such personal information.
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
- When requested by the individual for the disclosure of personal information held by the Company, the Company shall disclose it to the individual without delay. However, if the disclosure falls under any of the following items, the Company may not disclose all or part of it, and if it decides not to disclose it, it shall notify the individual promptly. In addition, a fee of 1,000 JPY per case shall be charged for the disclosure of personal information.
- When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party
- When there is a risk of significantly hindering the proper implementation of the Company’s business
- In other cases where it would violate laws and regulations
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information such as browsing history and characteristic information shall not be disclosed as a general rule.
Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
- If a user’s personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request the Company to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as “correction, etc.”) the personal information according to the procedures established by the Company.
- If the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to a request under the preceding paragraph, the Company shall promptly correct, etc., the personal information in question.
- If the Company corrects, etc., personal information based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or decides not to correct, etc., it shall promptly notify the user of this.
Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)
- If requested by the individual, when the individual has reasons to believe that personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or that it was acquired by fraudulent means, the Company will promptly conduct the necessary investigation.v
- Based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, if the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, it will promptly suspend the use of the personal information in question.
- If the Company suspends the use of personal information based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph or decides not to suspend its use, it shall promptly notify the user of this.
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs, if it is difficult to take measures such as suspension of use due to the large cost of suspension of use or other reasons, and if it is necessary to take alternative measures to protect the rights and interests of the user, the Company shall take such alternative measures.
Article 9 (Change to Privacy Policy)
- The contents of this Policy may be changed without prior notice to users, except for matters stipulated separately in laws and regulations or in this Policy.
- Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect when posted on this website.
Article 10 (Camp Cancellation Policy)
We will provide a refund in accordance with the “Cancellation Policy” for cancellations before traveling to the United States and for canceling this contract. Please note that cancellations must be made in writing, such as by email, with confirmation of the date and time of dispatch. We do not accept cancellations over the phone, so please understand this. Please also note that we cannot refund the cost of arranged airfare.

<Class Change Policy>
Changes in class are only possible if there is availability in the desired class. Changes made 30 days before the start of the class:
- Additional charge for the price difference (no refund for the price difference)

Changes made within 30 days of the class start date:
- Additional charge for the price difference (no refund for the price difference)
- Fee:
- 1-week course: $400
- 2-week course: $600
Generally, changes after the class has started are not allowed.
