We are looking for instructors to lead lessons in programs that introduce Japanese culture through after-school classes and workshops.
《Job Details》
Target Age Group: Approximately 9 to 18 years old (there are both children’s and adult classes).
Program Duration: The program is scheduled to start around January (training will take place before this).
Location: Sunnyvale CA
・Japanese Language Instructor
Use original teaching materials to conduct Japanese language classes in English.
– Qualifications
・Able to conduct lessons in English.
・Capable of creating teaching materials.
※Teaching certification is not required.
Create and teach lessons using your own materials.
・Calligraphy Instructor
Conduct lessons in a relaxed state, which is fundamental to calligraphy.
– Qualifications
・Able to conduct lessons in English.
・Must possess an instructor’s certification or be a master-level practitioner.
・Please attach photos of your own works when applying.
Teach lessons that focus on meditation, which is essential for calming the mind in calligraphy.

Our Japanese and American staff work in a cheerful environment.
Although this is mainly a remote position, we promote communication between staff through biweekly meetings.
This program involves after-school classes and workshops, so while some locations are fixed, you may need to travel around the Bay Area or near San Jose.

You may be asked to assist with transportation during summer camps.

Learning about Japanese culture may sound a bit challenging, but we design programs that allow children to learn in a fun and engaging way. Whether it’s the unique brush strokes of calligraphy, different from coloring or Japanese pronunciation, or the distinct style of Japanese anime illustrations, each is a new discovery and a spark for growing interest.

Job Details
Part Time
・Instruction Hours:
After School: Lessons will primarily be held on weekdays after school hours.
Long Breaks: There will also be instruction during long breaks such as spring and summer vacations.
09:00–17:00 [Work Hours Details]
・Material Preparation: You can work at your convenience during this time frame. Specifically, you can work freely between 9:00 and 17:00.
・Biweekly Meetings:
Due to the time difference with employees in Japan, meetings are often held at 17:00.
